Re: Twenty Four (24) -- 2 Hour Season Finale -- "6:00am to 8:00am" -- 5/18/09

Season 7 is perhaps the most overrated season of television I've ever seen. It honestly boggles my mind that people not only loved this, but think it's 24's best. I can't figure out why and there are...

Re: 24: Favorite President?

It couldn't be anybody but the endlessly complex and fascinating Charles Logan. Gregory Itzin is the best actor (besides Kiefer Sutherland) this show ever had.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Season 7 -- "10:00am to 12:00pm" -- 1/12/09

Is this the most apocalyptic terror threat yet or what?
Multiple suitcase nukes pale in comparison to crashing thousands of airplanes and crippling/destroying the infrastructure of the nation (e.g.,...

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Season 7 -- "10:00am to 12:00pm" -- 1/12/09

Well at least those were better than last night's eps.
The FBI escape had my heart pumping like classic 24. Sean Callery's still pulling out all the stops with his score.
The rest? Not so much.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Season 7 Premiere -- "8:00am-10:00am" -- 1/11/09

Jack gets a pass on anything, including coming back from the dead (twice).
Also, the circumstances were different for him and he was resurrected onscreen (as opposed to being pronounced dead for two...

They already pulled it with Tony. I wouldn't put anything past these writers at this point.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Season 7 Premiere -- "8:00am-10:00am" -- 1/11/09

Although I loved the day 5 conspiracy, I didn't like that Jack's brother and father were the alleged masterminds behind it. If there are even MORE people involved (and higher up on the totem pole, so...

Abu Fayed.

Die Hard 2 is what this reminded me of most. That came out in 1990.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Season 7 Premiere -- "8:00am-10:00am" -- 1/11/09

In my opinion, it was. It's actually my favorite season of any TV show ever. It surely obliterates the quality of every other season except one, especially the vastly overrated two.

Speaking of...

It doesn't. Just facetiously stirring the pot when my favorite season is criticized.

I agree, Wayne Palmer is the worst. But Allison Taylor is a serious downgrade from Noah Daniels.

Worse than Wayne Palmer?
Just wait until they introduce the Vice Prez. Then she'll get the 25th Amendment treatment.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Season 7 Premiere -- "8:00am-10:00am" -- 1/11/09

One more thing: it was lame that they brought up Logan and the day 5 conspiracy but didn't mention if he was alive or dead.

Wow that was boring and even more cliched than last season.
I thought I'd still find breached perimeters and moles funny but not anymore.

Die Hard 2 + Die Hard 4 + African terrorists + No Vampire...

Sure, why not? I've never been disappointed with Meryl Streep's acting. I don't claim to have seen all of her movies nor the many other great actresses' performances but I know she always delivers.
