Incidentally, The Paper Chase (the tv show) - the law school name is never mentioned - at least in S1. It is presumed to be Harvard.

Brazil (4): arminius, Nick Danger, Red Dog, wmansir

Canada (2): feenst, Jason

Costa Rica (2): Pharoh, Tracer Bullet

Mexico (5): Birrman54, frenchy, JasonF, Venusian, wishbone

Trinidad & Tobago (2): Rockmjd23, The Bus

United States (6): maxfisher, CRM114, Funkpie, mosquitobite, belboz, Mordred

There were no wrong answers, but had you answered Suriname, Honduras, or any number of Caribbean islands (St. Kitts, Dominica, but not Jamaica) youd've been wrong.

Unique Answers included Bolivia (o18), Chile (msflores), Colombia (DSC4), and Peru (J517).

By the looks of the answers, you probably weren't the only one.

Re: Politics & World Events (Reverse) Sheep, Round 2 — Electric Obama-Loo

Alright, let's clear the wrong answers first, this time.

Reginald Maudling, who was remembered by Nick Danger from Monty Python episodes, was, unfortunately, never a Prime Minister. He was, however, a Chancellor of the Exchequer, whatever that is.

Smith was obviously a guess by frenchy.

Howard was a guess by wmansir, or perhaps he was thinking of former Australian PM John Howard.

They all get 6 POINTS.

That's what I figured too. I totally guessed at Brazil. I had no idea of any besides the U.S.

I guessed as well. I just figured that pretty much any minorly relevant South American country would have been elected to the Security Council at least once.

There was a Michael Howard who led the Tories for several years this decade too. He was a great foil for Tony Blair during PM Questions.

Re: Politics & World Events (Reverse) Sheep, Round 2 — Electric Obama-Loo

Clement Atlee (2) was on the mid of JasonF and Red Dog.

missflores, Rockmjd23, and Tracer Bullet only had eyes for Edward Heath (3).

Mordred went with the obvious answer of Gordon Brown. Unfortunately, so did DSC4, Funkpie, Jeremy517, and Venusian, earning them (5).

Harold Macmillan was proudly remembered for the decolonization of Africa by orangecrush18. But, no one else cared.

Pharoh remembers Harold Wilson and the Winter of Discontent.

Birrman54, CRM114, and maxfisher all have an unhealthy Margaret Thatcher (3) fetish.

mosquitobite only had to look up at her wall to see her Tony Blair shrine.

And arminius smartly remembered that Winston Churchill was indeed a PM after 1950.

Oh, and John Major (5): belboz, feenst, Jason, The Bus, wishbone.

Question 17. Name a professional sports team (NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, or MLS) who has a name that evokes American patriotic symbols/ideals.

Maybe. Thought about him, but I wasn't sure if he served as PM after 1950.

And I thought Wilson, having served twice and being relatively recently, would be a fairly popular answer.
