Don’t think of it as overpaying for a ticket, think of it as contributing to the art scene of St. Catherine, Ontario.

I assume these are references to Rush songs? I'm not very familiar with their work.

Re: RUSH-50 Something tour 2026!!!!

General sale for Uncasville, CT went live today. Cheapest seats were $350+fees. Ugh. I've seen some pretty big acts in that building and I don't think I've ever paid more than $150.

I really wanted to buy tickets for myself and my stepdad, but even though I could have talked myself into spending that much, he would have never gone for it. Even if the tickets were given to him as a gift he mentally wouldn't be able to get over the cost and it would affect his enjoyment of the show. He already struggles with crowds at concerts (he basically hates anyone who isn't there to just sit quietly and enjoy the music), so it just wouldn't have been worth it. It's too bad, because he was pretty excited when the tour was announced. I never would have thought he'd be up for seeing them without Peart.

There were lots of seats from $100-200, but with 2 pre-sales I'm guessing they didn't last long. I was only able to see them during the Citi Pre-sale.

Huh. I wonder where they were in the building because the $350 ones weren't exactly great seats.

Re: RUSH-50 Something tour 2026!!!!

$180 was the cheapest I saw for the 3 places I looked at during Citi presales. And those were the last couple of rows in back of the top deck in those arenas.

Based on Geddy and Alex comment in their interview, they said they still have a lot of gas in the tank. I figure this iteration will last several more years.

Still are in Charlotte and Atlanta. The second night in Charlotte not only has a ton of seats but many are cheaper than night one. Atlanta might the toughest sell because they nestled the shows around Thanksgiving Day.

Good seats: $770.85
Better seats: $384.20
Literally half the price and a row down!

~$120 - $180 for the last upper rows on the southern leg of the tour. This isn't a show that I will be rushing to buy tickets to. I have a feeling the resale market down here will bottom out in the 7-10 days before the shows.
