Lady Gaga during SB LI was amazing and I'm not a Lady Gaga fan.

I know a lot of you guys in this forum dislike rap, but the Super Bowl 56 show with Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eminem etc. a few years ago was pretty good.

The Shakira/J-Lo show from the 2020 season was also pretty entertaining. :drool: Although it outraged a lot of housewives :lol:

I did also like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Beyonce among recent ones.

I enjoyed this one for everything except Usher's part. Prince's was awesome. I seem to recall really liking Bruno Mars' performance however far back that was.

They seemed to make a big deal about playing "Yeah" for Usher's set. But, that song is 20 years old.

I thought Usher put on a great show. I'm not a fan of his music so there's a cap to how much I'm going to enjoy an Usher routine but this was pretty close to that cap.

Why not get Depeche Mode to do the halftime show?

Probably zero chance with Jay-Z booking the show.

U2. The performance, the jacket, the big scroll of victim's names. Could have come across as real cheesy in hindsight but it worked then, and now. Gives me chills to this day.

I wish they would fire Jay-Z since the halftime shows have gone downhill once he took over and you only get a R&B or rap act now performing and no chance for rock or metal.

It is funny Metallica has not done it yet when their music is played in every sports stadium in America.

Prince and IMO, it's the best one I have ever seen in my lifetime. When the producers of the halftime show were afraid he would back out due to all the rain, they asked him, is there anything we can do for you? Prince said, yes, can you make it rain harder?
