Prince, Springsteen and U2 are my Top 3. Petty was also very good.

(Given that I'm a middle-aged white guy, probably not shocking that I preferred the classic rockers...)

Too bad they did not put a lot of effort into getting bands to do the halftime shows in the 80's.

Maybe we would have gotten peak Van Halen with DLR and the original Guns N' Roses lineup since hard rock was bigger back then.

You could get G&R but Axl can't sing anymore so that disqualifies that.

It is funny Metallica has not done it yet when their music is played in every sports stadium in America.

Metallica will probably never happen. The Chili Peppers basically said that the NFL only wants prerecorded music. All the instrument playing is faked.

I was gonna say this. It was fun seeing so many get triggered by a human boob. And a lot of those didn't even watch the halftime show.
