Been a huge fan since the Screaming Trees days and love his solo work. Im more immune to celeb deaths than I once was but this one got me, especially sad in a way as he fought off his addictions and I’m guessing this is somehow the impact of his battle with Covid last year that nearly killed him then.

Yeah, it seems like it must have. I haven't read his book, but he was obviously hit incredibly hard by it.

Heard Vedder speak about him last night at his 2nd show in Seattle, he was thankful we have his books and music to continue to listen to.

Sad to hear. I have never been much of a QOTSA fan, but I really enjoy his work with Screaming Trees and The Gutter Twins.
