Got tickets to see The Steel Woods in Montana in June. It will be the first non socially distanced show for me since the pandemic began. I’ll have my second dose by then and not too worried.

I already got tickets to see Dave Chapelle at the MGM Grand on the 4th of July weekend, so that's my first live show.
And I just bought tickets to my first post-pandemic concert :

The Blasters are awesome, I'd definitely see them again.
I got tix for Alice Cooper in October. That's an outside venue.
I'm debating pickup up tix for an indoor club show in September.
I'm vaxed and would wear a mask as the venue requests it.
My biggest thing now about seeing a show is simply being with that many people in one close place. I'm expecting to feel claustrophobic.

Not terribly happy, at least one of my Buddy Guy shows is being pushed to November and the second show if pushed will most likely move to next year as that venue is closed that time of year so it would likely move to 2022. I am fully vaxed and was looking forward to these shows.

Just picked up tickets for Mr. Speed, the KISS tribute band, for this fall. Things seem to be going well so I'm not worried, especially with four plus months to go before the show.

So, the first performer I see post-pandemic might be.....me!
Punk Rock Karaoke is coming to town in August, and that might be about the time I'm comfortable going to a show again. I've gotten up and sang each time I've gone to PRK, and last time I was daring enough to do a Buzzcocks song (most patrons are aware of their singing inability and choose songs that don't require any actual singing, so the two Buzzcocks numbers are usually there for the taking)

Re: When will you be comfortable going back to see live shows?
I've been ready. We have tickets for Brad Paisley at our local outdoor amphitheater a little later this year. Due to a presale, I was able to snap seats in a row of just three people, but not really for / about social distancing. More so because I hate being surrounded by morons at concerts, LOL
There were couple of other shows coming through that I wanted to get tickets to, but then I was slapped in the face with the sudden reality that Ticketmaster/Live Nation ridiculous fees still exist LOL. I wanted to grab a ticket to Alice Cooper/Ace Frehley and the "convenience" fees were $32 on a $89 ticket. Screw that, lol.
The wife and I have been fully vaccinated for some time so yeah we're ready for our normal activities to resume. MLB games are back to normal (which we attend a lot). With concerts coming back now we're just waiting for the touring Broadway shows to get back in the swing.

Vegas opens for live entertainment next weekend. Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, something called Illenium as the first concert at Allegiant Stadium, the Dave Chappelle show I will be attending. Should be a wild long weekend.

I'm going to dip my toe back in live shows in August. Primus is doing a show at Marymoor park in Redmond, WA that had a meet and greet option. Had to go for that with the opportunity to meet the band.
Also got tix for Cruel World in Pasadena, CA next May.

Re: When will you be comfortable going back to see live shows?
I did get tix for the other show - The Residents - in September.
I would love to go to Cruel World. Except - sold out, not sure I'm ready for a big festival show (not Covid related, just overwhelmingly crowded), and of course it's on the other side of the country.
Tix are popping up all over. Even in NC which is skipped on lots of shows (they'll hit DC/VA, then GA).
I'll probably see Mac Sabbath in October, and i just got an email that Testament, Exodus, and Death Angel will be playing in October as well.
Busy couple of months!

Wow, I'm a bit shocked a band would do a meet and greet, really expected that would be a thing of the past for a while at least.

I had GA for Cruel World 2022 for the Saturday show and signed up for the presale when they added Sunday. Was able to score the Clubhouse tickets I wanted and will unload the GA tickets for Sat. Not until May 2022 so plenty of time.

I've moved up at least a week; I have tix for The Descendents on August 20. I want to be stereotyped. I want to be classified.

Re: When will you be comfortable going back to see live shows?
Yesterday was the big one. I called it my Covid Vaccine Stress Test. For the first time (well actually the second, but for the first time as a sell-out) Allegiant Stadium held a concert. Garth Brooks opened his stadium tour in Las Vegas, on the same day as UFC 264. There were 70,000 people there, in a crowd that demographically closely matched the vaccine refusal crowd. Garth commented on how great it was to be able to perform live music for an audience again and things felt largely back to normal. But seriously I hope it doesn't spark a Covid-19 spike here. That is a lot of people in one crowded venue.

Went to the Punk in Drublic fest with Nofx and a handful of other bands at an outdoor venue. It was fun getting out with people again, seeing some live music, having a good time. Blisteringly hot, but free beer tastings with minimal lines, pretty good sound, and we had a good viewing spot. It was also over in time to get home by 10:30, so that was nice.

Saw Orville Peck last night @ Thalia Hall in Chicago.
So I guess I'm back in the game - already have tix for The Residents, Gary Numan, Psychedelic Furs, and Murder By Death shows.
This was my first show since They Might Be Giants in March of 2020, just a week or so before lockdown.
