Post Malone
The latest flavor of the month or just the beginning of a long successful career?
The next Snoop?
I think he is different and has a unique sound with catchy songs and beats so he might be around for a while.

Flavor of the month.
He's actually a pretty talented musician but he totally sold out to shitty pop music for fame and money when he should be a indie folk artist or in a alt-rock band. Too bad that's not where the money is. I've seen videos of him doing pretty good acoustic covers of artists like Bob Dylan and Nirvana that are pretty good but his own music is crapola.

I've heard his name for a minute but didn't think he was going anywhere. First full song I've heard from him is "Rockstar." I really like the song, particularly the beat and hook. 21 Savage's delivery doesn't really work though.
Anyone know if he actually writes his own raps?

Re: Post Malone
I assume he does since most of his songs involve drinking and doing drugs which I assume is from his own personal experiences

Re: Post Malone
I think Post Malone makes some good music though. Laid back, chill music.

Michael Jackson had to give up a little bit of space on his throne this week, when Post Malone broke a record that The King of Pop held for 34 years. The 23-year-old rapper whose name has crept slowly and then very rapidly into the mainstream in recent years just saw his album Stoney spend its 77th week in the top 10 of Billboard‘s Top R&B and Hip-Hop Albums chart — beating out the 76 triumphant weeks that Michael Jackson’s Thriller spent up there in the Eighties.
It’s not a one-off. Malone’s second album Beerbongs & Bentleys is the top-performing full-length album of 2018 so far, according to the mid-year report Nielsen released last month. That album also broke a Billboard Hot 100 record previously held by the Beatles; before Drake dropped his oversized album Scorpion, Malone’s Beerbongs reigned supreme with the biggest streaming records on Spotify and other digital platforms. As this week’s record indicates, tracks from the 2016 Stoney are also still being consumed today, which marks an unusually long tail in the fast-paced streaming era.

Malone has gone more mainstream than I ever thought he would when he first came upon the scene. He was a guest on the NBC All Star Elvis Tribute this past February.
And his song, Sunflower, from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, has been on the charts forever it seems.

I’m still convinced that Post Malone is Shia Labeouf. He decided to try a social experiment using long-term method acting, which then spiraled out of his control, and now he just doesn’t know how to end it and come clean.

Post Malone is quite popular but also crusty. The face tattoos and smokers teeth make it hard for me to take him seriously. It's like if Dudley "Booger" Dawson became a rock/rap star.

I’m all about his father Pre Malone, fuck the Post.
My kids though love that song from Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse soundtrack. Too bad it’s barely 3 minutes long. First I’ve heard of him. Not sure what happened to his face.
