Wouldn't Percodan, especially in large doses make you drowsy? Hard to believe he could stay awake that long unless he was also on a strong stimulant.

for drug naive patients sure, but if you've been taking it for years... decades... your body builds up a tolerance.

Re: Prince dead at 57. RIP

I assume the Voice will probably do a Prince tribute and probably Fallon and Conan since they are back with new episodes this week.

Will Rolling Stone and People Magazine release commemorative editions?

I know the New Yorker did one unless it was just the cover and they have a bunch of Non-Prince stuff inside the magazine.

Thanks that is better. The Automatic video is impossible to find and I don't think it was on any of the dvd releases.

The Economist will probably devote the Obituary to Prince this week (they only do one per issue). And I'm interested in what Howard Stern will say but of course he's on vacation this week.

Meanwhile, I've been listening to Breakfast Can Wait on repeat.

Just imagine if Warner Bros got their first wish and John Travolta played the lead in Purple Rain.

Re-listening to the Batman Album. It always reminds me of being four, with my cassette tape, listening all the time. I loved every track. Plus, it was quite the departure from The Little Mermaid and Raffi.

He left no will, and just his music alone (not including his home/estate) is valued at around $500 million, and that doesn't include what he hasn't released, which is rumored to be about as many songs as he has released.

No will. No children. Married only once right? Does he have any siblings?

A bunch of them. His sister Myka, I believe her name is, is quite the recovering mess.

He has full blooded sister and 5 half siblings. They will likely share control of his estate.

Re: Prince dead at 57. RIP

He really was quite underrated as a songwriter. I never knew this late 90s band/early aughts bands hit song was originally written by him

Re: Prince dead at 57. RIP

I don't think he was "underrated" at all - most everyone agreed that he was a great songwriter.

I can't understand how someone who was so protective over his music when he was alive, left no will. At this point, after his siblings spend years duking it out in the court systems, we may never get to hear what's in his vault.
