These are music videos of The Byrds on TV in 1965 that I think are amazing!
Someone figured out that these were actually synced-to-the-record performances - common at the time - so the tinny old TV sound was dumped and these videos were resynced to the hi-fidelity records, which makes them sound fantastic.
And that good sound quality + the Go-Go dancers make these perfect blasts from that era:
The Byrds - "I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better" (I think this '60s tv show is called "Hollywood A Go-Go"):
The Byrds - "It Won't Be Wrong" (not sure which tv show this one is from, but this is my favorite song by the Byrds):
The Byrds - "Set You Free This Time" (no dancers in this one):
Another thing in these videos is seeing David Crosby (pre-"Crosby, Stills, & Nash"), looking very young and without his later trademark moustache, but wearing his (at the time) trademark green suede cape / poncho (which was sold at auction in 2013 for something like $15,000).

(And a bit of trivia: The "Y" in the name "The Byrds" is "why" there's a "Y" in the band name "The Long Ryders" posted here earlier - it's a tribute to this legendary "Jangle Pop" influential band.)

While we're on the 60's, I LOVE The Seeds. I'll guess that Echo and the Bunnymen were big fans as well.

A little heavier than music I normally like, but this an infectious AOR ripper from the Swedish (?) band House of Shakira. "In Your Head":

Simple Minds is probably my all-time favorite band, and I thought their album from last year was up there with their best:

Re: Post a song you like or love.
I've been on a Cocteau Twins kick lately and going thru their song catalogue, so here are a few highlights...
This song titled "Iceblink Luck" is the one that started me on this kick:
This one called "Heaven or Las Vegas" was in my travel mix when I went to Vegas a few months ago:
This song "Pearly Dewdrops' Drops" gets a lot of replays too:
And going into the band's earlier music that I was unfamiliar with, I ran across this very ethereal song (its intro alone is 3 minutes long!) and guessed that there was probably a good video for it. So I searched and stumbled across this fan-made video that is so good at fitting the song that the band's label should do whatever they can do to make it an "official video":
NOTE: attempts to embed the videos is getting automatically turned into "i-frame disabled" tags for now, so I also put in the URL links to the videos as well]

Judas Priest's cover of Joan Baez's Diamonds and Rust. The version on the Unleashed In The East album conjures up so many emotions, one of the few songs for me that the cover version is better than the original.

"Turn It On", one of the best from Lindsey Buckingham's stellar 1992 album Out of the Cradle:

Cool! Are those YouTube "YT" tags something new? Or just something that's been around for a while that I wasn't aware of?
