Are these guys popular with DVD Talk members? Downloaded their two albums over the weekend and am listening to them now.

Very interesting version of modern Progressive Rock. Great stuff coming from every band member. But for those that hate Rush because of the vocals, I can't imagine them liking this band. My only complaint is that the vocals are pretty bad. everythign else is pretty solid and reminds me of the great parts of some classic PR bands from the past.

I really like their first album and I don’t remember having issues with the vocals. I haven’t heard their 2nd album though. Shame that they are not on Spotify but based on their first album alone, I wouldn’t hesitate picking up their 2nd album without previewing it first.

Just avoid the song on the first record where Portnoy sings lead.

Maybe I'm just not familiar witht he vocalist's work before Flying Colors. If you;e used to it, it may come off differently.

2nd album is just as good as the first. Officially comes out next Tuesday (30th).
