The Lorde performance seemed like an odd mix of Drew Barrymore (looks) and the lead singer of the Cranberries (mannerisms). But, still mesmerizing in its own way. Royals was in constant rotation on the Sirius XM Alternative station during the summer.

They won, off air. They were invisible during the telecast.
Speaking of the telecast, whose brilliant idea was it to go imediately from Kendrick Lamar bringing the house down to a sweet little Kacey Musgraves country number with zero transition? For a telecast flow, that didn't work at all.
