And they're doing some sort of performance at the Late Show next Wednesday, 9/21 (more)

I really like the new album a lot.
The new songs are great on that Letterman concert too.
I reiterate my opinion: the best band in America.

As for my favorite albums - it is still a toss-up between Summerteeth and A Ghost is Born.

I've been enjoying this, definitely a step up over Wilco (the album) and I'm glad to see Tweedy let Nels do his thing on a few of the tracks, especially the opening cut.

I don't know what the problem is with Wilco (The Album). Do people not like melodic Wilco? I just listened to it and I can't pick a weak song on it.

On another note, did you guys hear about that at a recent show Nels rocked Duane Allman's gold Les Paul that he played on Layla?

I'm diggin' this new Wilco album. It's their best album since YHF. Just finished listening to it for the third time in about 6 days. Capitol City was my favorite song, but now it might be Sunloathe. I love albums like this, I hear something new and different upon each listen.

Wilco is so dependable. Really enjoying the new album and appreciate that Jeff so often isn't just going through the motions. Crazy about the opening track, "Art Of Almost".
