Got this in my email today. Two Rolling Stones vinyl box sets coming out November 23rd. Both very pricey:

1964-1969 box set details:

- First five titles in the set are presented in their original mono format affording, for the first time in years, an opportunity for Stones fans to enjoy remastered versions of the tracks "I Can't Be Satisfied," "Time Is On My Side" (Version 2) and "Down the Road Apiece" as originally released.

- Through the Past, Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2) is included with its original octagonal cover and artwork intact.

A little too rich for my blood, and for the price of the second box set I would also have liked the various singles and b-sides they released from 1971-2005. Still, if you're a Stones fanatic, have fun!

Sounds very cool, but way too expensive. Even the Doors vinyl set wasn't this steep in comparison.

Yeah, I'd love to get my hands on that first one, but I have a feeling I could track down originals for far less (and that would probably sound better - assuming these new reissues are digital-sourced).

$400 for 4 great and 2 good albums?

nice mono copies of the first 60s albums might cost a bit of money but there's no question they would sound better than any reissue

Holding out hope that the LP of Exile on Main St. includes the additional tracks as part of this set (initially those tracks were only available on CD).

Would love to have both these -- though they are spendy.
