The Besnard Lakes Are the Roaring Night

This one may have been discussed since it came out in March, but I finally got around to it and love it. Whole album is worthy.

Firing up some classics.

Oblivians - Sympathy Sessions. Some may like Popular Favorites or 9 with Mr. Quintron better but this one stands as my favorite Oblivians records front to back (even though it's a singles collection).

Gories - I Know You Fine, But How You Doin' Classic stuff from Mick Collins and the crew. Wish I lived where I could have seen their reunion concerts with The Oblivians. Thank goodness for Youtube.

Pretty good stuff. Has a song with Monsters of Folk as well as a Joanna Newsom sample on another track.

I'm not a huge Surf Revival fan, but that Bambi Molesters album is incredible. Dark surf-styled stuff out of Croatia of all places. Year of No Light is highly recommended for people into Post-Metal.
