How's that Locksley? I just saw them in concert with Butch Walker and thought that they were pretty good.

Can't stop listening to it. I really liked the last album, and this one's even better, and perhaps a bit more modern sounding. Super-catchy songs in "The Whip", "21st Century" and "One More Minute". Just really good, beat based, modern power-pop. I'd love to see them live.

I went to an Athlete concert this past weekend and picked up their new album:
I think it may be their best of the four as well.

Come Tuesday, it will be this for two weeks straight, I'm sure:
First new DEVO album in twenty years, Something For Everybody. They'll be on Colbert, Lettermen, and Regis & Kelly next week if anyone's interested. You can also stream the entire album from Colbert's website.

The chorus doesn't hit until 2:00 in, but it's a monster of 80's cheese/genius. I'm a sucker for airy stuff and this hits the spot. Whole album is not bad... much better produced than Ariel Pink's earlier material. Being on 4AD helps. Came out last week.
