Matador Records Fest in Vegas - Oct. 1-3

...with Pavement headlining!

Also, the article doesn't mention it, but I've heard that Sonic Youth is confirmed as well.

This makes me very happy.

I'm seeing Sonic Youth and Pavement at the Hollywood Bowl in September, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were both at this event.

Pavement, Sonic Youth....throw in Yo La Tengo and you've got a deal.

I think I have my new vacation planned. The lineup for this should be sick.

Alright. Ticketing for this thing is fucking bullshit. Three day pass for $199. That isn't so bad. However, they're selling no single day passes. To get a ticket, you have to purchase 3 nights at the Palms. A whopping 50 tickets have been allocated to Zia Records for locals without the need to get a room. Why should I have to pay over $300 for a hotel room, when the Palms is literally 10 minutes from my house?

Wow, that's pretty close to a dream line-up. The only other additions I'd have would be Mogwai and Interpol.

Rolling Stone is reporting that Liz Phair will be added to the lineup.

I'd be shocked if Interpol wasn't added.

That is an amazing lineup, but the ticket package is way out of my range, and it'll probably sell out in about .5 seconds.
