I've never really gotten the whole music video thing - I like a few here and there but I've always been pretty uninterested.

All videos are for the purposes of promoting the song. And this long video must have cost a bundle which in the past the artists had to pay for. That could explain the overt advertising used to compensate for the expense.

That was a great video. I love Lady Gaga's ostentatiousness, I just wish I liked her music more. But all the imagery surrounding her is great. I also love how such a significant butterface has gotten so popular.

I find her to be Britney Spears with actual talent. She's no Beatles or anything, but she has a sense of fun that makes her insanely wacky wardrobe and ideas actually work. The songs are catchy, too.

And i mentioned this too in another thread, that unlike most pop stars, the non singles are very good and catchy as well, and its not all techno dance songs either.

Well it still doesn't match his Smack My Bitch Up video, but not bad.

The campy-ness and resurrection of the p-wagon were nice. I also don't care for Gaga's music, but I give her credit for, imo, resurrecting the "pop star" after what seemed like a long ass time... and doing so with a "I don't give a damn" sensibility.

I also love the fact that a bunch of Lady Gaga songs are coming out for Rock Band including the Eric Cartman version of Poker Face as seen on South Park.

I went on the Phx, US Airways Center site, and the show isn't even listed. I'd like to find out when the tix are going on sale, how do I do that if its not even on the arena site?

yep. she cancelled a bunch of her shows on the last tour because she was "exhausted" (but still went on Oprah the day after she cancelled her first show). told all her fans how sad and sorry she was about it, and promised they'd be rescheduled, and of course, they weren't. she was supposed to play 2 shows here in CT in january - one in a 5000 seat theater, and one in a 12k seat arena. both were "postponed" (cancelled), and now on this tour CT gets one show in a 16k seat arena. shitty.

actually she only cancelled 1 show before the oprah performance - it was in indiana - and it was rescheduled and went on without a hitch the next time - it was added back to the tour at the end - after the new york dates... check your facts before posting incorrect info

ok, so she rescheduled the indiana show (i would fucking hope so since she didn't decide to inform fans about the cancellation until after the opening band played!). and i said myself she went on oprah the day after the first cancelled show.

everything else is accurate, and people in CT got the shaft big time.

just sayin that's a ridiculously shitty work ethic. people want to fluff her to be the next madonna. she's got a damn long way to go before she's on that level.
