To me this type of "classical" music is very movie soundtrack sounding to me and is reminiscent of Danny Elfman.

1. Classical is an actual period of music & and there is nothing classical about what you linked.
2. If you mean "music with strings and/or full orchestra" I recommend the Romantic period, esp. the various nationalistic composers of the mid-late 1800s. The favorite of mine is Smetena and his work Ma Vlast.

Re: classical music like this?

The instrumentation sounds like a string quartet, and the syncopations in it reminds me a bit of the music of Igor Stravinsky.

Here's some Stravinsky to see if it's close to what you're looking for:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7jhOIDmtCcs&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7jhOIDmtCcs&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Here's a bit more Stravinsky (ignore the WWII footage in this one and just listen to the music):

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iozYUSvRgb4&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iozYUSvRgb4&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

And a little bit more...

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mUfjcqg07M8&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mUfjcqg07M8&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
