I never said people are angry (or even ANGRIER) because Kanye is black and Taylor is white. I only said the IMAGE of it plays into old social stereotypes/fears of black men assulting the purity white women. And that acts as a catalyst because it strikes something of a cultural nerve. And the media loves that shit.
Honestly some of you people are so freakin' touchy about ANY discussion of racial subtext, that you automatically scream RACE CARD!!!!11!1!1!!one!! whenever the topic is brought up.
And for the record, I'm not "a black guy".

I used "colored" in quotes because I'm one of those "racially ambiguous" people that often throws other for a loop. Let's just say I'm not exactly white and leave it at that.

I am really tired of this subject. It was nice when it was fresh Sunday night and all day Monday but we are on Wednesday now. People are acting like this is some national scandal. This was an award show, an MTV award show at that where the unexpected ALWAYS happens and I don't remember getting so heated about an incident as this has. Kanye apologized, Taylor accepted it's time to move on to something else.

Why don't they just stop inviting him to award shows? It's pretty much a given anymore that he's going to find a way to act the fool, so just keep him from coming!
