Radiohead: Wall of Ice EP - Monday, August 17th?

Rumor has it, Radiohead is releasing a new EP on Monday. Has anyone heard about this?

Apparently, this is a leak from the EP - These Are My Twisted Words:

Awesome news.

By the way, the special track they made "Harry Patch (In Memory Of)" for the last UK survivor of WWI is a very moving track. Basically Thom singing over an orchestral arrangement made by Jonny.

It's just the one new song, and it's free for download.

Yep, kind of a let down:

from dead air space:

These Are My Twisted Words
So here's a new song, called 'These Are My Twisted Words'.

We've been recording for a while, and this was one of the first we finished.
We're pretty proud of it.

There's other stuff in various states of completion, but this is one we've been practicing, and which we'll probably play at this summer's concerts. Hope you like it.

Download the audio here or torrent here.

Sounds like it was pulled from the "In Rainbows" sessions.

I can't complain about a free song, and I do like it, but I too was hoping for a bit more.

Even the worst Radiohead has to offer is better than 99 % of what is out there, IMO of course.

but what a great opinion it is.

LOVE the new track. All in all, we've had three new Thom Yorke tracks in 09, this, "Harry Patch", and "All for the Best".

Has anyone heard, All for the Best? It's not a Radiohead song, but a cover of a Mark Mulcahy song Thom did with his brother Andy. It's fucking beautiful....

2000 copies. Pretty limited. Will get a copy if I can find one. Is this vinyl or disc?

I do know that proceed's go to the artist's wife, for financial troubles or something. So, nice effort.
