Yeah, the packaging sucks. Big paper folder and CD/DVDs in sleeves. I loathe these paper CD cases in general and having one that doesn't fit anywhere is even worse.

So why all the hate for Patty? I know that there were rumours about them getting divorced and all, but I don't get all of the hate.
As for the new CD, I love it. I don't understand how some people claim that it is more pop than his other stuff. The only song that I can kinda see being pop-ish is Surprise Surprise.

Yoko/Linda McCartney syndrome. No one likes to see their favorite rock star stick their spouse (of usually limited talent) on stage with them. You don't see iron workers bring their wife to work to get them their tool kit.

Patty was on stage first, then became his spouse. There is a big difference.

I saw Bruce on stage in LA in 1988 Tunnel of Love tour. He was married to the gal from Sisters back then. I saw him onstage with Patty, bumping & grinding and turned to my friend and told him "He's totally nailing her". Turns out, I was right there.

What I don't understand is that his hardcore fans hated his first wife, too. So he dumps her for an actual Jersey girl who's a musician, too, and they're still not happy.
I've come to the conclusion that Bruce hardcore fans just want to pretend it's still 1978.
Just watch the video for "Tougher Than the Rest" and tell me they weren't gettin' busy...
