guess i'm not too surprised to not see a thread about this over here yet, but...
http://www.phish.com PHISH TO PLAY THREE CONCERTS 10.01.08 Phish returns to the stage for three concerts at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia on March 6, 7 and 8, 2009. A limited number of tickets are available directly through Phish Tickets' online ticketing system at http://phish.portals.musictoday.com/ . The ticketing request period is currently underway and will end on Wednesday, October 8th at 11:59AM EST. Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, October 18th at 10 AM EST and may be purchased online at http://ticketmaster.com or by phone at 757.671.8100, 757.872.8100 or 804.262.8100. Tickets will not be available at the venue box office and there is a two-ticket limit per show. The band intends to announce additional touring in 2009 early next year. just hoping they do it right this time. |
I put in for the tickets and tried to find a hotel for the weekend. Every Hotel is sold out in a 5 mile radius.

What's this about hotels? I say get a van or pitch a tent and hang out with the tapers! Just don't eat the chimichangas. I am excited that they are touring again but won't go to that show. Hopefully they head towards Texas.

i'm not gonna worry about hotels until i have tickets. i don't mind having something 10 miles away from the venue. we'll see if the tickets actually happen first.

Good news, would love to see them again, I hope the 09 tour is pretty extensive.
My mom and brother gave me tickets to the Clifford Ball for my graduation and then my brother and I drove cross country to see them, what a great time. |

anybody else end up going? I made to Saturday and Sunday, with Saturday being one of the best shows i've ever seen. Amazing time all weekend, the Mothership has landed.

Both shows I saw were fantastic and exceeded any expectations I had. However, I would give the edge to Saturday as better than Friday. Page may end up as Phish 3.0's MVP. He was better than he's ever been. All in all, the band sounded better than they have since probably 1999 or so. |

amazing weekend. i'd have to rank the shows 1-3-2, but they were all amazing. there was just no duplicating the feeling on night 1 when the lights went down. SO glad to have been there.

Holy shit, mkdevo! The wifflewook that you took pictures of crushed the styrofoam cooler of the people parked next to us and fell into our camping chairs. He was hilariously fucked up. He was only with our group for about 20 minutes (no, none of us knew him) and was quite destructive. We ended up trying to trade him to passers-by for a Sunday ticket. ("This wook for your Sunday.") No takers though.
