Aussie Pink Floyd (Tribute Band)
So is anyone familiar with Australian Pink Floyd? I've seen a concert of theirs on of all places my local PBS station and they sounded great (one of the guys has a voice that is ALOT like David Gilmour's, the guy who does Water's parts is ok but not as good). Anyhow, they're coming to my area so a buddy of mine and I got tickets. I guess they're doing the Wall in its entirety plus an some other songs in the encore. Should be good, anyone else ever get the chance to see them? The stage show for the wall should be awesome.

I don't know about the wall show, but I saw them a few years back and thought they put on an amazing show. I haven't caught waters or gilmour on tour, but this is as close a pink floyd experience as I think you can get.

Same question from two years ago:

And as I mentioned in that thread - YES, they are definitely worth seeing!

Cool sounds like based on what I've seen and what others are saying should be a good time. It'll be interesting to see just how theatrical they get with the stage show for the Wall.

I saw they're coming to the Hard Rock Casino here in Vegas soon. I might have to check them out.
And I don't believe for a second that Gilmore hired a tribute band to play his own music at his wedding.
