This is turning out to be the CD of the summer for me. Brings me back to the days of Throwing Muses, Juliana Hatfield, Velocity Girl, etc. I get an instant smile on my face when I hear any of the songs on this album start up.

...had to buy a used copy, as this Swedish (?) import CD came out via a short press run in the year 2000, and is loooong out of print. It features Krokus vocalist Marc Storace on about half of the vocals (the Bon Scott tracks).

After a decade of seeking it, I finally have it. >sigh<

Another trip to Half Price Books, another CD. This time, I picked up Ghost World - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack with trade-in credit. I might easily have forgotten to even browse the soundtrack selection, except the discussion about a possible Criterion release of the film made me think to check for this. Terry Zwigoff's liner notes are interesting (though curmudgeonly and full of "it's"es that should be "its"es). Looking forward to playing this one.

MinLShaw, how do you like Half Price Books? Do they have any deals when it comes to used or clearance CD's? The place I go to has an awesome 4 cd's for the price of 3 on their "closeout" cds which are basically the excess used inventory or older acts.

Just got Fleetwood Mac - Penguin, Lindsey Buckingham - Go Insane, and Yes - 90125 Expanded; not too happy about how they remastered the Yes CD.
