TESLA will release their Gold (2 CD Best Of retrospective 32 song set) on Aug 26th. The tracklist is as follows:

Tesla drummer Troy Lucketta also revealed that the band's retrospective box set is nearing completion. A whopping 40 UNRELEASED songs have been mixed and mastered and are ready to go. A release is planned for "the first quarter of 2009." I'm far more interested in the upcoming box set, but this will still be good for the unreleased, non-album and b-sides stuff it offers, not to mention the remastered sound.
Since none of the band's earlier catalog has gotten the remaster treatment, and could certainly use it, the only other way to get anything of theirs that has been is to buy the 20th Century Millennium Collection that came out a few years back. And basically, these Gold collections that UNI puts out, are just a gloriously expanded version of those single disc offerings.
