Roy Kelton Orbison:The Big O

It hard to imagine that 20 years (December 6, 1988)have pasted since Roy left this world and he left so much for everyone.

The other day I was watch In Dreams:The Roy-Orbison and like fever I started watching more bio's on Roy what heartbreak this man went threw in his life time.

I know that there are lot's of great singers and songwriters but if there was a top 10 I think Roy would first or second on alot of people list.

From Bruce Springsteen's Speech to Induct Roy Orbison in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

"I wanted to make a record with words like Bob Dylan, that sounded like Phil Spector's production, but most of all I wanted to sing like Roy Orbison. Now, everybody knows that nobody sings like Roy Orbison." – Bruce Springsteen

Orbison had one of the top 5 singing voices ever. The "Black & White" DVD is my favorite cencert film ever. To see all those brilliant musicians in awe that they're sharing a stage with Orbison is something special.

Vol. 1 by The Travelling Wilburys is also one of the best albums ever.

I think they should make a bio-pic of Roy!
Who in hollywood looks like Roy? let alone could sing like him.
I just pick-up the DvD of Roy Orbison-Live from Austraila I will watch sometime this week and get a review.

I read some time back that Barbara Orbison, Roy's widow, has sold options on Roy's story, but has never been happy with any of the scripts written. She wanted Sean Penn to play Roy at one point. So, a biopic won't happen unless she approves it.

Besides Lost Boys 2? I doubt it.
But yeah, he's a dead ringer for a young Roy.

Well I watched both Roy Orbison-Live from Austraila and Roy Orbison-Black And White With Friends this week.
Roy Orbison-Live from Austraila was very good givin the it a master-copy is VHS and I loved his covers he did.
But Roy Orbison-Black And White With Friends was the best I ever seen Roy in anything so far and I teared up a little here and there.
