Upcoming Rush album and tour thread

I like it. A poster above commented on it being more mellow and I agree. It is more mellow, but still quite heavy (in sound and lyrical content).
So far Armor and Sword, Faithless and We Hold On are standouts for me. There is a very cohesive feel to the CD as a whole.
On another note..for some reason I thought the songrwriting credits were funny...
All Songs composed by Lee and Lifeson, with lyrics by Peart, except "Hope", composed and performed by Lerxst Lifeson...all by his own self.

so far i like it, definitelty a different feel to it. My brother said he thought it sounded much more like Presto or Roll the Bones than Counterparts, Test for Echo, or Vapor Trails.
I was shocked (in a good way) that it was acually sold out at my local Circuit City where it was on sale for 9.99. Had to pick it up at Best Buy instead.
What's funny is that, in preperation for the new album, I've been listening to more Rush lately than normal (which is a TON since they've been my favorite bad for roughly the past 16 years!) and I've really grown to love "One Little Victory" off of Vapor Trails while 5 years ago I wasn't a big fan of it. Other than the awful recording quality, I really don't have anything against that song. I might even put it up there with "Carve Away the Stone" and "Available Light" as one of my favorite underrated Rush songs.
Definitely can't wait for the concert! 3 years since the last time and it's been a long time coming!

"Available Light" is an amazing song.
Another thing I like abouthe new cd, I find myself humming along to every cut. It's like all of a sudden I realize I'm humming along without doing it on my own. I think that's pretty cool.

Setlist:
Other things of note:
Based on all the unusual songs in the setlist, I say they are planning an after tour DVD.

I'm just pissed that just because I ordered the tix thru the Rush website, that they still haven't mailed out our tickets for the July 23rd show. Stopping scalping is one thing, but this is ridiculous.
The tickets will probably come while I'm on my 3 week vacation and hopefully they don't get lost at the post office, where I'm holding my mail.

I got my tix for Both LA shows from Ticket-rapster but I forgot to buy a ticket for the park and ride from Torrance to the Hollywood Bowl. It's no big deal because I can pay cash at the bus but it's nice to have the ticket ahead of time.

One week from tonight folks and I will be enjoying Rush concert number 4 in my lifetime! Cannot wait!!! the time since I last saw them in 2004 seems like forever! Out of curiosity, am I the youngest Rush fan in this thread (I'll be 27 in December)? Can't wait!!!
