I concur...what a f'n joke!! First thing...pre-sale did not start on time. I got in the instant it was available, level 1 seats were already sold out?? WTF??
Level 2 seats were crappy...I tried to refresh and see if it would improve at all...then sold out!! In the matter of about 30 seconds...c'mon now...they aren't that popular...
Looks like I may take a ride up the the venue since I'll have to wait until Saturday...save myself the $10 per ticket "convenience" fee.

For each of the last 2 tours, one of my buddies won front row tickets from a local radio station each time. We just assumed he was blowing one of the dj's or something. So this morning he logs on for the presale and initially gets average tickets, but then tries again and gets 2 front row seats again. WTF??? I guess maybe he is blowing Geddy.

Well, I logged back in during lunch and got row LL in the right section...not great by any means, but I sat in basically the same row in the Left section for R30 and had a great view of the entire stage show.
Still, I wish they were playing at the Toyota Center....August in Houston at an outdoor venue=hot and humid!!

The last time Rush toured, my shed offered a package of four shows (Rush, Skynyrd, Styx & Allman Brothers) for one price. I was able to get 6th row tickets that way. Even if I ate all the other tickets (which I didn't), it's better than paying some fucking broker.

Local brokers already have ROW ZZ (last row of reserved seating at the venue) going for over $500!! I thought about taking a chance during the general sale on Saturday, or hitting up a broker...but that's just too much! Glad I went ahead and bought them.
I've seen them every tour since Power Windows (twice on Test for Echo) and wasn't about to miss them!

I'll take my chance with general sale and if I get screwed, then I'll keep checking up till the actual date.
For $500, I'd rather buy a PS3 or New LCD. That's just fucking insane.

well we decided that we're going to try and go for the show on June 30th in Saratoga Springs, NY since the show at Mohegan Sun is on a Monday night (yuck) and since we have a group of like 5 or 6 we won't mind taking a road trip. Should be fun!

Ok, did I just see Geddy in an ESPN Fantasy Baseball ad?
I know he's a huge fan of the sport so it would make sense but it was a quick shot so I'm not sure.

Well I picked up tickets for Nissan on the 23rd. Ok seats...I tried for the orchestra seats all morning long and didn't get jack. Row G in section 101 isn't to bad...same row I was in for my first Rush show in 2002.

Shit, I haven't even tried to get tix yet. My "Concert buddy" called me Monday morning and left a message but we haven't touched bases yet. I'm not too worried because I've always been able to get into shows so we'll see how this goes.

So www.rush.com is down right now, but I thought I saw that the Hollywood Bowl pre pre-sale was not until April 10th (my birthday). Was I incorrect and have blown everything?
