Dear Michael McDonald: I call uncle!
Please, just stop! No more... enough. Don't accept anymore paychecks for advertisments using your cheap Motown remakes.
Does anyone get it? Remakes can be really cool with certain twists, but why would anyone ever choose his versions over the originals? And I actually LIKE a bunch of those Doobie Brothers songs.

I'm still a big Doobie Brothers fan--I don't like any of that Motown stuff, at all. It's like McDonald is just existing on mannerism and with those perfunctory takes on Motown classics.
I still like him a lot though..

I misinterpreted the thread title, and thought we had Michael's nephew posting here!

Only semi-related, but does anyone have a picture or video of Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins, Steely Dan or any member of The Doobie Brothers giving Michael McDonald a friendly nuggie? Just need one for....reasons.
