My recs, not overtly "punk" (more on the "ish" side) per se:

Flogging Molly (esp. if you like Dropkick Murphys, album: Swagger)
Gang of Four (album: Entertainment)

Which is also well worth picking up if you want something punk(ish). Picked up the 70's version yesterday, but haven't had a chance to crack the shrinkwrap yet.

The Dropkicks were good before Al Barr ruined.. uh, I mean, joined.. them. Strangely, his old band - The Bruisers - is one of my favorites.

Since starting this thread I picked up the first two Distillers albums; The Distillers and Sing Sing Death House. They both kick my butt and I love them. Thanks for the heads up on this band.

I also got The Cramps - Psychedelic Jungle/Gravest Hits and Flamejob. No one recommended them, but I've been on a Rockabilly kick lately too and this was a good bridge between the two. Both these CDs are a lot of fun. (I'm also very close to getting a Misfits CD).

And I got a Sympathy For the Record Industry collection: Alright, This Time Just the Girls: 2 discs of songs from bands like Lunachicks, The Chubbies, The Muffs, 5,6,7,8's, Hole and tons more for under ten bucks.

And I've got about a half dozen other recommendations from this thread that I'll be keeping in the back of my head for future CD buying sprees. Thanks all.

This thread got me waxing nostalgiac, and I did a youtube search and sure enough, found the video for one of my favorite songs. I remember loving this video when it came out, and then never heard another word about the band since---don't really know anything about them. But this is my idea of a nearly perfect single:
