Well, in case you're still interested in the answer to your original question, the answer is Yes.

The songs that you download at home are authorized to play on your home computer. The songs that you download at work are authorized to play on your work computer. To swap them, copy all the AAC files from your work computer and put them on your home computer. Import them all into iTunes and try to play one of them. A pop-up will appear saying that those songs are not authorized to play on this computer, and ask if you would like to authorize this computer. Click yes. You will only need to do this for one song, and the rest will automatically be authorized.

With iTunes, you can authorize up to 5 computers.

Are you on a windows based system or mac? I know that in the mac, you can simply click any image and drag it over the cover image placeholder in the song info box. That'll make it a part of your cover art. I believe that in Windows, you can simply copy and paste the artwork.

So...using iTunes 7, you can now find and download album art for songs in you iTunes library, but you can't do it for tracks already on your iPod?

I noticed that too. All the artwork shows up in iTunes, but not on the iPod for songs that were there already. Doesn't seem worth it to remove and re-add them.

Should have mentioned that mine is a Nano that doesn't have all the artwork.

Did music prices suddenly go up on Itunes? Every track I see is now "1.50Fr" instead of $.99. Am I looking at the European version of Itunes or something? I just opened Itunes today and that is what came up, I have no idea how it happened.

I don't know mine shows 1.50fr too, but everything in my shopping cart still says $.99

I found that attempting to purchase a song for "1.50fr" will get you bumped back to the American version of Itunes. I got an error message saying my account is only authorized for purchases on the American version.

Freaking itunes problems....HELP

I updated to the latest version. Prior to that, I didn't update to 7.0. Now I plug in my ipod photo and it is trying to update everything on the ipod, but ends up stopping about half way through and giving me an error that it could not be updated. Any ideas?

Any way to go back to a previous itunes?

Do you have 'auto update' turned on, or off?

Just noticed, iTunes 7.0.2 is available now. Hopefully this will fix everyone's problems we've been having.

The biggest problem I was having was connecting/disconnecting my iPod. iTunes would either freeze up or my iPod would never show up.

After the upgrade, it is working fine so far. iPod comes right up, and goes away when I hit the eject button. I only moved a couple of podcasts and 3 CD's I just got, but they copied pretty fast/normal.

This new update seems to have finally fried my IPod. I've had occasional problems before but now it just keeps freezing. I've restored it to factory settings twice now (and also tried rolling back and just about everything else). Anyway, now I'm slowly adding back all the songs and that seems to be working so far (but I've got about 7000 songs to go). I have an extended warranty (the only time in history I've purchased one) so if it keeps bombing out I'll just take it in--maybe I'll end up with a new Ipod.

For some reason last week, when I'd go to the podcast section on iTunes, everything was in Japanese! The update seemed to fix that, though.

Doesn't fix mine sadly. Various songs still end up skipping which started happening to me since 7.0.1.

I've done all the recommended fixes, nothing works. Sometimes everything will play fine for an hour and then boom songs start to skip even just once during their play.

It is really annoying and Apple needs to get with the picture. I guess I am just too spoiled with Apple products always working that once they bug out I can't take it.

Of course nothing is skipping on my Macbook... just here on XP.

Itunes Concert Calendar Plugin.

I think this is excellent..

It reads the artists in your Itunes playlist!! And then has a calendar (visualiser) that shows you the upcoming shows.

And if anyone hasn't checked it out yet, try out the new Music Quiz on the iTunes games for the iPod. It's awesome, and it's only .99.

I really like the plugin, but I wish it kept a history of the concerts for a while. Sometimes I wonder where a concert went to, and then realize that it has already passed, and the calendar is blank.

It's also too bad that they couldn't get a partnership with Pollstar, as their databases are kept more up to date.

It's a battery hog (as I imagine all of the downloadable iPod games are), but really fun. Much better than the standard Music Quiz. It'd be nice if this was pre-installed on future generations of iPods.

Any good custom quizzes out there?
