I watched Walk the line this past weekend and was impressed with the Prison scene performance. The bass on my subwoofer was pumping hard. I was just wondering if anyone has heard the soundtrack and if it matches that bass on the dvd?

It's a studio performance of Cocaine Blues anyway.

I do love the soundtrack though.

I have never listened to much Johnny Cash and thought the dvd performance might be close to the original he performed.

Joaquin's is a little more energetic and frantic, but overall, he does an excellent job.

I will say that if you like the bass, the soundtrack will supply it for you.
