Damn I haven't gotten my issue of Deep yet. I think it's funny the X-mas single keeps coming later every year
This X-mas single was more like a Spring Single.
I'm pretty sure 10C tickets for the last full tour were around $45-$50 per ticket. I saw them in West Palm and Tampa last tour (2003) and both times I paid over $100 for 2 seats. There is a 2nd leg rumor on the PJ boards and they have a Raleigh, NC date for August 12th so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that.
I've got a pretty decent 10C number 198,XXX so I generally get pretty good seats.

Doubt I'll get to see them down here in redneck country, but I'm feeling these first two songs.
The lyrics for World Wide Suicide are a bit hard to make out, but I can't see anybody being too offput by them...though those types sure are easily offended and I'm sure we'll see an anti-Pearl Jam crusade if it gets any spin.
I think I might like Unemployable a bit more. Eddie seems more effective to me when he relates to individuals rather than trying to elaborate on broad issues. Plus it's got a type of hook that they haven't done before. It's nice to hear something different from them.

The leaked tracks are rumored to not be final mixes. And 3 of the four that we havn't heard before were in mono. Don't know if it's cool to list the song titles, but the newly leaked tracks are Life Wasted, Comatose, Severed Hand (only one not in mono) and parachutes. Add those to Worldwide Suicide, Unemployable, and the Gone demo from the fan club and we've heard about 7 of the songs.

Ok, They're really not happy about the leaked songs. Here's a message from Ed:

Got tickets for the May 17th Chi show! Def excited! Tickets were 51 and an 8 dollar fee. Kinda steep, at least to me, seeing how I paid 35 for Foo Fighters/Weezer at U of I...but then again that's college discount stuff. Mehmeh, I'm def VERY excited for PJ though! YEAH.

I've started a Pearl Jam Tour Discussion Thread, so can we get this one back on track about the album?
Thanks.

I can't speak on the album, I refuse to listen to the leaks.
However, I do enjoy WWS, and Unemployable very much.
The gone version played in AC, was just ok to me though.
So we shall see.

Personally I find Riot Act considerably uneven. I don't particularly care for the majority of the second half that much at all. But there are some real gems on there. I do hope the new album is at least better than that one, if only for the chance to make a new Pearl Jam compilation. Volume 3 awaits.
