Loving it right now. Listened to it about 5 times just now and think it's a solid track. I am really looking forward to this record...Sucks we have to wait until May!

I second most people's opinions...I really like it. I didn't know they were actually planning on releasing a record soon, let alone actually releasing one in the 2nd quarter of the year....very cool. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

WWS Lyrics - From pearljam.com
WORLDWIDE SUICIDE
(lyrics: Vedder, music: Gossard)
I felt the earth on Monday. It moved beneath my feet.
In the form of a morning paper. Laid out for me to see.
Saw his face in a corner picture. I recognized the name.
Could not stop staring at the. Face I'd never see again.
It's a shame to awake in a world of pain
What does it mean when a war has taken over
It's the same everyday in a hell manmade
What can be saved, and who will be left to hold her?
The whole world...World over.
It's a worldwide suicide.
Medals on a wooden mantle. Next to a handsome face.
That the president took for granted.
Writing checks that others pay.
And in all the madness. Thought becomes numb and naive.
So much to talk about. Nothing for to say.
It's the same everyday and the wave won't break
Tell you to pray, while the devils on their shoulder
Laying claim to the take that our soldiers save
Does not equate, and the truth's already out there
The whole world,... World over.
It's a worldwide suicide.
The whole world,... World over.
It's a worldwide suicide.
Looking in the eyes of the fallen
You got to know there's another, another, another, another
Another way
It's a shame to awake in a world of pain
What does it mean when a war has taken over
It's the same everyday and the wave won't break
Tell you to pray, while the devils on their shoulder
The whole world,... World over.
It's a worldwide suicide.
The whole world,... World over.

It's not the easiest thing in the world to do. The link on the frontpage takes you to their bootleg site. You have to login (or register). Then you have to rename the download to an mp3 extension, because it's an html file.

That being said, I like WWS. Kinda has a Yield vibe to it, which is a good thing. I wish they would go back to being agressive. Hopefully the whole album is similar and not coma inducing like Riot Act(which is quite ironic, looking at the title).

Yeah it's tough to get decent seats if you're not a ten club member.
At a pavillion show you usuually end up in the back of the pavillion or in the lawn in my experience.
I singed up a couple months ago so I could get a little better seats this time (though they still probably won't be great since it goes by seniority).

i'm going for albany, hartford, boston, and both e.rutherfords.
you know, the more i analyze the tour, the more i think it sucks. i mean, sure i'll be happy to see them and all, but this tour just makes no sense. forget the $60-$65 tickets for a second.. there's gaps for no reason, making touring/travel/lodging absolutely pointless - Saturday > Tuesday > Friday?! what is that?
they're doing an arena tour in may/june, yet there's two random ampitheatre shows. the one 2-night run, toronto (which i would LOVE to do), is an ever-convenient Tuesday>Wednesday run. great. and there's a day off between 2 shows at the same venue. wtf?
enough bitching i guess.. carry on..

I would almost guarantee, given how past tours have worked, that second shows in Boston and Philadelphia (Camden) will be added. Also, the Boston and East Rutherford shows are pending possible playoff games and could be changed around. I just wish they gave fan club members more than a day or two before tickets went on sale to figure out which shows to see.

I'm not in the Ten Club and have had pretty great tickets everytime I've seen PJ, including 3 times on the Canadian tour back in late 2005... I'm getting spoiled by PJ, kicking off the tour with 2 nights in Toronto...you can bet your ass I'll be there for both.

I'll gladly pay it. $2-3 is tacked on for a donation to a local charity of their choice in each area as well.

Tickets for Chicago were VERY tough to get today because of server problems.
I would suggest going over there and running the cookie check to make sure your browser is cool and logging in a couple minutes before the onsale. If you initally get shut out, keep trying, as I finally got the tickets 45 minutes after they went onsale.

Yeah I agree the ticket prices are pretty high for pj. Last tour in 03 I think they were roughly 15 bucks lower per ticket. The boston tix are esp high it appears.
I'm not going to complain.. though.
I have albany and hartford tix thus far, just need boston to complete 1st tour leg.
I too had some problems getting tix esp to the hartford show, but it seemed as though refreshing was able to turn some up, even after they were listed as sold out.

SEAT ALLOCATION
Tickets are allocated by seniority within the Ten Club. The longer you have been in the Ten Club, the closer your seats are to the stage. Proximity to the stage is determined by how many members are in attendance at a show.
Tickets will be pre-assigned and organized in advance of the show, then distributed at the venue box office on the day of the show. We will not mail your tickets to you, nor can we reveal your seat location in advance of the show.
Group seating is not an option, but your pair of tickets will be seated together.
Not all Ten Club tickets will be located on the floor. We have reserved the side sections closest to the stage and feel these seats provide a better view than those in the back section of the floor.
Since tickets will be prioritized and assigned in advance, showing up early to the box office will not increase your chances of getting closer to the stage. Ten Club distribution times will be revealed in a follow-up e-mail confirmation.
