Freaking awesome album. Hony-Tonk Hellbilly blazing bad-a$$ness about sums it up.

You guys gotta check it out.

I love the CD....except for his use of the word "f@g". Hey Hank: You have gay fans who dig your balls out traditonal country!!! I would give the CD a ****/****.

I'm sure that line would make Hank's homophobia fly out the window (ha ha)

Glad you enjoyed the album though

Hopefully, he just used the word in passing and does not have problems with gay folks.

Also purchased Jesi Colter's new CD (her first in 20 years)....it's really good.

I like "Risin" and "Brokesick". Is this one along the same lines?

I don't know the context though, but maybe he means "cigarette" rather than "homosexual".

pretty close, although this one is a little more raw and Hank took more liberties so it took longer to ge out. But it has about 5 songs that are in the same vein of the older albums. The other songs are a little more Hellbilly. Check the clips at amazon.

Ha, just saw what i put in my own post - was trying to shorten the album title, but wasn't trying to invent a new word.

Anyway, I'll take a listen on Amazon.

He's playing a show in my area in less than 2 weeks, so I might try to make that.
