I was at the warfield show last night. Man, what a great show. Anyone with the chance to see them must do so. One of the best musical performances I've ever seen. I was so impressed with how talented the band members are, and how well they meshed. And the set-up too.
The main instruments were a xylophone, a sitar, bass guitar, saxophone, and drums. And they were JAMMING. It had a really jazzy vibe to it, endless songs and extended solos for everyone, but it was never boring because everyone is so talented. And because it's so funky.
The xylophone player is crazy! And of course, Les. It's really fun to watch him play. As cheesy as it is to say the bass guitar is simply an extension of himself. You can see it. I think this album is a lot more enjoyable live and that's the best way to experience it.
Again, if you get the chance you have to see them on this tour.

Tons of Primus news swirling.
It appears that it is certain a new DVD is coming out called Blame it on the Fish with footage from the Tour De Formage. Also, a greatest hits CD is rumored to come out, but that's not for sure. I know we'd all want new stuff.
Plus, a Nov/Dec tour is in the rumors as well.

I still want to see these guys bad. They never come to my town though and Texas is too big to drive to another town.
Anyone getting the new DVD on Tuesday? I cant find a complete track list of it. And werent these guys suppose to have a new one soon?
I want to get a solo Les CD. Any suggestions?

Yes, they are going to be releasing a new album. When? Dunno.
Les... Do you have any of the Frog Brigade discs? Live Frogs: Set 1 and Purple Onion are my suggestions... There's also the DVD, 5 Gallons of Diesel, that covers a little bit of everything from his work with Frog Brigade, C2B3 and Sausage.
