No. And likewise we shouldn't consider Heart to be Canadian. The Wilsons are American.

I really like the song "Allies" and was thrilled to see it on the 2 disc Essential Heart collection that I picked up at Best Buy for $12.50.
I agree about "All I wanna Do", it's hilarious to listen to it now:
"I said please, please understand
I’m in love with another man
And what he couldn’t give me
Was the one little thing that you can"

My girlfriend saw a Heart 2-disc set at Target and wanted to buy it (for Dog & Butterfly) I told her the 2nd disc is worthless because it was all thier late 80's songs...and i already have a greatest hits cd that includes that song.

I first heard of Heart when they released their 1985 self-titled album. And I liked it a lot. As well as Bad Animals and Brigade. However, in later years I've learned that their best music was recorded before and after those albums. Desire Walks On, their last studio album for Capitol, is actually pretty good. I also like the live Heart Alive in Seattle ablum. It is excellent. Their cover of Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters is awesome. The Wilson sister's musical abilities really shine. And if you look at the track listing, you'll see that the 80's Capitol output is barely touched. Their latest studio album, Jupiter's Darling is also good.
