Alternate version of Squeeze's "Tempted" ?
I've been listening to a webcast station called 80sgrooves.com and they play a version of "Tempted" that I had not heard before. It sounds like an alternate take, because Carracks signing is in different pitches than I remember.
Does anyone know about this, or where I could find it to purchase?

Not sure if it's the version you heard, but Squeeze rerecorded the song (or maybe it was just remixed - I don't know) in 1994 for the Reality Bites soundtrack.

Now if only I could find the remix of "Goodbye Girl" specially done for that Under Armour commercial...

The 30-second spot aims to appeal to the performance athlete and competitive spark within all women, featuring Mitts waking up early in the morning and heading to the gym rather than back to bed. The spot follows Mitts on a fast-paced run through the streets of Baltimore, Under Armour's hometown, with an exclusive re-recording by Squeeze of the band's 1982 hit "Goodbye Girl" playing in the background. Lyrics on the re-recorded track were crafted specifically for Under Armour's commercial.
Doesn't seem like the whole track would be available anywhere.
Note that the two most useful things I found when Googling for this were:
1) Your original post here
2) Your blog
Apparently, you own this topic on the interwebs.

Seems so. You'd think there'd be a bit more chatter out there about this song, but I guess the kids aren't into Squeeze like they used to be. Maybe one day I'll get lucky and befriend an ad exec (or Glenn Tilbrook) who can pull some strings and get me a copy. Thanks for the info, though.I was checking the Sitemeter on my blog and was wondering who from Vermont was looking at it. Now I know.

My first thought was that he heard "Tempted '94" from that soundtrack too.
