"I felt like the 'P' was getting between me and my fans and now we're closer," Diddy said.
R Kelly also has this problem (and I'm not refering to the 'R' in his name).

Years ago, the "P" was getting between me and my brother...then he stopped wetting the bed and everything was fine.

Seriously, why is this news? The next thing you know, they'll be live in his home when he learns to drop a gold-covered deuce.

Soon "Diddy" will be shortened to "Did" and then finally changed to "Done" and he will never be heard from again.

Well, he did have a hand in inventing the remix.

Why not remix his name?

He pays more per month for child care that a lot of people make in a year. He may be a lot of things but a dumbass he is not.

No, he's a dumbass. Having the ability to make money does not mean you are intelligent.

That article is absolutely hilarious, especially this line: "I even started to get confused myself--and when I'd called someone on the telephone it took me a long time to explain who I was. Too long."

I was watching E! News when they repeated the clip of him making his announcement earlier on the Today Show. Pretty funny - he said that he had a big announcement to make...dramatic pause...and then dropped the bombshell about his name. I admit I fell for it (stopping to see what the heck he had to say that was worthy of making a big deal about it on the show) - I thought he had something to say about a new clothing line, upcoming album, etc. But this?! Some of the people in the crowd behind him had a "WTF?" expression on their face.

You sure it wasn't a "What a F'n idiot" expression?

Sure to cause another awful Jay Leno joke like the classic he told last time "Diddy" changed his name:
"I hear his next name will be P. Yankee Doodle Dandee!"

ANyone who continues to call him whatever name of the month he picks is as big a moron as he is.

Amazing that this guy is supposed to be some musical genius but the only song I can think of by him was written by Sting.

Uh huh, yeah! Uh huh, yeah!

Whatever name he goes by, he's still a terrible rapper.

Jokes about that will never grow tired. The "Chappelle's Show" sketch video (and the remix) remains an all-time favorite.

As for Puff, Diddy, Doody, whatever...I don't know about the rest of you but I feel that my life is now totally complete, and I am at peace with the world and exist in a state of pure clarity from knowing about this stunning, earth-shattering revelation.

You know how they say you hear less than 1% of what's going on in the world in news..? They couldn't find something else to talk about?!
