I dont think he is doing this because of anyone here...Obviously he is doing this kind of stuff for his fans because they will buy it. What is interesting though is the point that he may be a lot of things, dumb ass not being one of them. He seems to have a great deal of people who arent fans of his, talking about him. Yeah they may be spouting off about what a moron he is, but it keeps his name in the press, which in turn keeps money rolling his way.

Doesn't make it any less stupid. He is a media whore that needed some buzz before he drops his new cd.

At first I thought that this was just a joke poking fun at his last "official" name change. When I found out it was serious, I could do nothing but shake my head in mild disgust. It saddens me to think that this is somehow a newsworthy event, and that people actually run around calling this guy "Diddy" because he decides he wants to give himself a nickname.

Damn, did he put "P" in you all's butts?

You shouldn't let it get to you. I hear Diddy Kong will be suing him for copy right infringement or throwing a barrel at him.

Just told Mrs. Pusser the exciting news.

Her reaction: "Diddy really?"

Then she gave a strange high-pitched cackle. "HEHE".

I think so. I have not seen it either but a guy at work was talking about it the other day. I guess he was making fun of Making the Band or whatever the show was called.
