CNN had a doc on his life worth checking out.
Even the jingles he did for commercials sound top notch.
I did not pay attention to his personal life but sounds like he was in the closet and tormented and did not want to come out and lose his fans and the big female audience that supported him.
Maybe if he was still around that would have changed.

Needless to say, I cant recall he passed away. Sad to see he was younger than I am now when we lost him.

Maybe off topic but Billy Ocean had kind of a similar voice and his fame should not have been relegated to just the 80's and he had some great songs.

I must have been in a hole they last 20 years because I didn't know he had passed away. I always enjoyed his music.
