Unusual musical pairings?

I'm looking for suggestions for unusual musical collaborations. I'm talking Henry Rollins and William Shatner or Tiny Tim and Brave Combo. I'm not sure if I want to include things like Elton John and RuPaul or Cher and Beavis & Butthead.

Can anyone help me out?

Snoop Dogg and Charlotte Church.
Huey Lewis and Lemmy.
Vanessa-Mae and Violent Femmes.

Oh, were you wanting real collaborations?

Aerosmith and Run D.M.C. - Walk This Way == Sure it is all and well, now, but then it was unheard of.

Nelly and that country singer on whatever song they did.

not sure if this meets your criteria, but there are a lot of rap songs that sample songs that are kind of "pairing"

Yeah, that wasn't ELO. It was "The Power and Fury Orchestra" which was essentially, just an orchestra......not a band. Danzig and ELO would be something insane, though. Danzig wrote "13" with Johnny Cash, though. And co-wrote "You and Me" and "Life Fades Away" with Roy Orbison for the film Less Than Zero.
