Which "unplugged" version of a song do you think outdoes the original version?

"Motorcycle Emptiness" and "A Design For Life" by Manic Street Preachers have great "unplugged" versions. Better than the original? Who's to say. The problem with saying they are is that it's only in the context of the original that you can make your appraisal.

I've always thought Nirvana's "Man Who Sold the World" was better than Bowie's. There, I've finally said it.
I'd also like to add I'm not a really big Nirvana fan, if that makes a difference.
I've really come to like the entire Plant/Page Unledded show again, now that's it been released on DVD. Although alot from "III," which was a very acoustic heavy album.
I have some old Smashing Pumpkins bootlegs in which some of the songs were redone acoustically. The same with Toad the Wet Sprocket.

It is hard to even imagine the original.

Mama Said Knock You Out - LL Cool J
I can't stand him but this was a great performance of a decent song. I was never a big fan of LL or unplugged - if Smells Like Teen Spirit was meant to be a folk song Kurt Cobain might still be alive and no one would have ever heard of him - but LL's turn raised hip hop to a new level. It was done around the time MTV was doing Block Party Summer ('91 I believe). I remember loving it in the blcok with Summertime by Fresh Prince and Now That We Found Love by Heavy D.
