Who sings this?

OK this has been bugging me for a long time... There was a song, back in the early 90s... it was played during a Beverly Hills 90210 episode. It had the words something like "tell me I'm not angry anymore..."

the song sounds A LOT like "Whats Goin On - 4 Non Blondes" Does anybody know this song??

I have a feeling that is the song he's looking for.
Joey, baby - don’t get crazy
Detours. fences... I get defensive
I know you’ve heard it all before -
So I don’t say it anymore
I just stand by and watch you
Fight your secret war.
Although I used to wonder why -
I used to cry till I was dry.
Still sometimes I get a strange pain
Inside
Oh, joey, if you’re hurting so am I.

Joey, honey - I got some money
All is forgiven. listen, listen
And if I seem to be confused
I didn’t mean to be with you.
And when you said I scared you,
Well I guess you scared me too.
But we got lucky once before
And if you’re somewhere out there
Passed out on the floor.
Oh joey, I’m not angry anymore.

there are some albums I look at in my collection and think to myself 'And why did I buy this album'?? I think I must have only listened to this album once and have never ever listened to it ever again.

Although it's probably 12 years old or older, its cool to me, because I heard it like once watching 90210 during its original run.

I actually gave up on it, until I got to noticing 90210 references on tv.

NOW, my all my big questions about life are answered....

Pulp - Like A Friend is the song from Great Expectations
MXPX - Well Adjusted is the song from the soda commercial, and now this!
I AM complete!

the song I most remember from this film was "Life in Mono"
Performed by Mono, countless times on the various trailers for the film.

EXCELLENT song (and their only album wasn't too bad, either).
