New Marillion out!
If you order it over their website that is. Marbles be the name, and I'm digesting it slowly now..will take some time as all Marillion discs sound.
With a little luck, they might tour the states again...so go buy it!

C'mon Suprmallet...how old were you when Fish left...3?
H and Marillion have made much better music since Fish's albums. They aren't even the same band anymore!

They never have sounded like Genesis from that point on, and epseically not the last 16 years under Steve Horgarth.
They are my second favorite band behind Genesis...great songwriting. Give Afraid of Sunlight or the new Marbles a try once it comes out. Some amazing stuff. If you have heard Porcupine Tree of late, I would suggest it's similar to that.

Well, yeah, I wasn't old enough to listen to Marillion when Fish actually left, but I did listen to their albums in chronological order when I got into them. Clutching At Straws is, in my opinion, one of the better progressive rock albums ever made. So imagine my surprise when I listened to their first Steve Hogarth album and found it, to be charitable, not up to par. Their first three albums are so good and I haven't heard anything by them since Fish left that equals even the lesser stuff the first incarnation did. So in that way, I still haven't gotten over the loss of Fish.

go grab Afaid of Sunlight, Anorakphobia, or even the new one. It doesn't sound like the Fish stuff, but I think you will be surprised.
Anoraphobia has their best song of all time on it...This is the 21st Century...total money shot.
Marbles is great...and my name is in the credits
I missed it by two damn weeks!
