I finally picked up the new cd last week. Got around to listening to it over the weekend. I have to say I am not digging it that much. Bukowski is ok, probably the best song on the album IMO. I use to be a big Bukowski reader and that is probably why I like it so much. I forgot the one track, but it is such a poor Tom Wait's attempt that it is sad.
I also wasn't that big of a fan of Moon & Antarctica either, so I think it is safe to say they won't put out anything I like any more. It is just the direction they are going in I guess. Which sucks, but that happens to a lot of the bands I like.

! A kid in my dorm has the whole album up on iTunes and I would have to say Float On and Bukowski are my favorite.

This past weekend's Subterranean on MTV2 had the Float On video as well as Isaac Brock as the musical guest during the 2nd half hour. It's the first I ever saw him other than still photos. He was a lot different than I imagined. Was a cool show to catch if it re-airs again.

For anyone who watches it - what do you think? I really liked it. But I'm a sucker for anything-Modest-Mouse.
