What is the one must have Elvis CD boxset?
I have a friend who is a big Elvis fan and I was just wondering what is the best of the lot.What about the RCA Elvis The Box(30 discs)?Does anyone have this?

The only Elvis box set worth owning is the "Two And 1/2 Years" set from Rykodisc.

If he's a big Elvis fan and wants the studio stuff, rather than getting the 30 disc set, I'd get these:
The King of Rock 'N' Roll: The Complete 50s Masters
From Nashville To Memphis: The Essential 60's Masters I
Walk a Mile in My Shoes: The Essential 70's Masters
Also, the 5 discs sets are still available in Columbia House with the original longboxes (instead of the smaller box sets with little books). I just ordered 2 of them and got 10 double sets free (Sale is Buy 1 Get 3 Free, but with box sets they give you a few more free) I got everything today in great shape. This might be the way to go if you're friend is a member!
