What is the one must have Elvis CD boxset?
 

I have a friend who is a big Elvis fan and I was just wondering what is the best of the lot.What about the RCA Elvis The Box(30 discs)?Does anyone have this?

The only Elvis box set worth owning is the "Two And 1/2 Years" set from Rykodisc.

My favorites are When I Was Cruel, Spike, Armed Forces, King Of America, and Trust.

If he's a big Elvis fan and wants the studio stuff, rather than getting the 30 disc set, I'd get these:

Also, the 5 discs sets are still available in Columbia House with the original longboxes (instead of the smaller box sets with little books). I just ordered 2 of them and got 10 double sets free (Sale is Buy 1 Get 3 Free, but with box sets they give you a few more free) I got everything today in great shape. This might be the way to go if you're friend is a member! :D
