Offspring - "Splinter" (2003)

It's been leaked. For fans of their older older CDs (when they were "punk") you'll like this one. May actually buy an Offspring CD again....

Haven't heard it, but I wish they wouldn't have caved and kept the title Chinese Democracy.

Sounds like their older stuff, huh? I really like Americana and prefer it to their previous releases, so I'll have to give this one a listen to determine a purchase.

Well, I've been a big fan of the Offspring for a long time... and even though Conspiracy of One wasn't spectacular, I was really looking forward to this album...and it rocks. It rocks hard. This is probably one of their better albums... Fans of Americana won't be disappointed...but fans of Smash and Ixnay will also like this record... It is quick, fun and fresh. I really hope it does well because it just shows that The Offspring are still a great band who are good at what they do. I love the album and will definately be in store picking it up on December 9... you should do the same!

Conspiracy was a bit lacking. It was like Americana pt.2. Leftover tracks from the Americana sessions.

Ixnay is their most solid album, IMO. Followed by Americana and Smash.
